Our core values
Here's what we're believing for our city.
Jesus Christ is the greatest expression of worship. His life mission was dedicated to worshiping God the Father. It is our passion to walk in constant worship to God. Wherever we go and whatever we do our actions should always bring praise and honor to Him.
"But a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such as these to worship Him. God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23, 24)
Understanding how God the Father sees you and knowing who you are in Christ empowers you and sets the stage for you to do great things. As sons and daughters of a loving Father who protects us and provides everything that we need, we can change the culture, climate and atmosphere around us.
"...Christ in you the hope of glory." (Colossians 1:27)
It is our desire to bring healing and transformation to our communities and our city by building healthy relationships with the people around us. Being in right relationship with God, we can show the love of the Father to those that are broken, bring support and empowerment to families and individuals, and provide protection and affirmation to our community leaders and city officials. We believe that the healing of our land comes from God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit through His church, His people.
The currency of Heaven is Love. Father God loves the world so much by giving us His son. Jesus loves us by giving His life. And now, we have the one true spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, given to us in love as our counselor and comforter. We believe that Jesus Christ is perfect love and our greatest endeavor is to share the love of Christ. Loving God and loving people, we love because He first loved us.
God changed His covenant relationship with us by changing us from condemned sinners to beloved sons and daughters. We have a new identity and nature that requires and enables us to relate to Him and to one another in a particular way--the way of honor. We honor others because Father God created us to be honorable people. We show and display honor because it is part of our identity.
"For freedom Christ has set us free; stand fast therefore, and do not submit to a yoke of slavery." (Galatians 5:1)
The Christian life is a life of freedom because it is lived in the power of the Spirit of God. Salvation and our faith in Christ frees us from the power of the devil. Therefore, we are free indeed. Free people free people.
